Excellence in Philanthropy & Service Award

The Excellence in Philanthropy & Service Award is given to the Fraternity or Sorority that demonstrates the most significant commitment to philanthropy and service throughout the 2014 calendar year.

Nominees organizations must:
- Be in a registered Fraternity or Sorority under the umbrella of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
- Be in good judicial standing with the university.

Please respond to the following prompts in no more than 250 words each. Nominations of more than 250 words will not be considered.

Note: Chapter service hours will be confirmed through Catlife reports.

Question Prompts (minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA to apply):

  1. Why does this Fraternity or Sorority deserve to win this award?
  2. What service activities was the nominee organization involved with throughout the last calendar year?
  3. What philanthropic activities was the nominee organization involved with throughout the last calendar year?
  4. Total number of service hours and average per member;
  5. Funds raised during the 2014 calendar year and for which organizations;
  6. How does the nominee organization inspire others to participate in service and philanthropy?
  7. Please upload any documents to support this nomination.
