Academic excellence is of paramount importance to members of the fraternity/sorority community. The resources that Greeks can provide include scholarship awards, study sessions, files or materials, and tutoring assistance. Many fraternity/sorority organizations recognize and reward their member's scholastic excellence. Additionally, according to retention data, members of fraternity/sorority organizations are more likely to complete their university degree than their non-Greek counterparts.
